Genesis:
Genesis, the first book of the Bible, lays the foundation for understanding God’s purpose, humanity’s identity, and the moral order of the world. It begins with the creation of the universe by a sovereign God, establishing that life has intentional design and purpose. It reveals the fall of humanity through sin, showing why the world is broken, yet also introduces God’s promise of redemption. In today’s world, Genesis remains relevant as it explains the origin of life, the value of relationships, the consequences of moral choices, and the hope for restoration through God’s covenant, reminding us that our lives are part of a greater divine story.
Chapter 1
In the beginning, there was nothing but God for God is the beginning were there is no end. The Earth was without form and void. The only thing that is without form is liquid and gas. Liquid and Gas takes the form of whatever container its in. The earth had no shape. Also the earth was void not having no legal or binding force, without content. The place was dark and God moved upon the face of the water. God gave us the first choice in Genesis and that is when he said let their be light. Light is the other side of the coin of darkness. God divided the light from the darkness. Since Jesus is the way, the truth and the light then God has separated Good and evil which is a choice on the first day.
God is setting the stage for us before we were placed on the earth, On the second day, God made a firmament which he called Heaven. God divided the water above and below heaven. Heaven is neither in the sky nor on the ground. Heaven is a spiritual realm which is parallel with the physical realm. This is the second day.
Now that the earth just water and sky the land needs to be exposed. Today 71% of the world is water. The earth/land brought seeds of its kind and grew whatever that seed was called. which means according to natural order, a apple seed cant produce a pear tree. This was the third day
The earth now has water and seeds for plants but it needs sunlight to make them grow and to also to keep man alive when he/she arrives. The sun was also a large clock to keep track of the seasons. The Sun is a large star while the move produces a night light reflecting the sun onto the earth.
Our vision
We want to help you understand that Genesis is not just the first book of the Bible but a place were you will see how God shows us that he created something out of nothing. When we came into this world we started with nothing but potential. The potential to speak, walk, see, hear. These potentials are called blessings. One of the greatest blessings we have is life. As long as we have life, there is nothing we cant do. We want you to see and understand your potential
